Bookpage

BookPage commissioned me to illustrate their June 2026 issue. The main theme they wanted to convey was how their readers travel in the summer with their favourite books.

I worked on several concept sketches, and we finally went with Concept 1 – of a reader entering her favourite book to create her own summer story. Smaller details on the cover include a nod to Pride Month and easter eggs from the featured books on the cover.

I also created a few spot illustrations that were scattered through the inner spreads.
